KIKO SO STYLISH NAIL POLISH REVIEW

If you did not know already, I am a huge nail polish lover. And I think that I now may own every single colour. For Christmas this year I received a 'Kiko So Stylish' nail polish set from my parents. Kiko has always been one of my favourite makeup brands and I have always been happy with everything that I have purchased from there in the past.
Immediately I loved the packaging. I always think that you can tell a lot about a product by how it is packaged. The packaging is so pretty and striking that I have kept the polishes in the box for storage ever since. The set comes with 8 neutral to bold shades. And with such a variety of colours I like to think of it as a colour for every mood :)

I go through stages of loving different shades. However my personal favourites are:

I am in love with these two shades. I think that they suit any skin tone and they are perfect for both summer and winter. All of the colours are very versatile and I feel like all of the shades would work well with any outfit. The polishes have a very smooth consistency and are not gloopy or sticky at all. All of the polishes are very easy to apply and dry within 5 minutes which is always a bonus. Personally with these polishes I find that I have to apply two coats to build up the colour as the lighter colours can be slightly sheer.

DO WHAT YOU LOVE

I often find myself over thinking about how others feel about me. I used to feel really self conscious and constantly worried about the way I look or the way that I may come across to others. I used to never be the type of girl to stand up for myself in a group of people. I began my YouTube channel during year 8. I always admired older beauty gurus who always seemed very confident and happy. And, I wanted to have a place where I could talk about all the things that I loved and I loved the idea whole idea of making videos. It started off as a hobby however I started to become more confident within each video that I made and I could see myself growing as a person.

Little did I realise that by making videos and becoming a part of YouTube would unlock so many opportunities. It was amazing being able to connect with other people around my age who shared the same interests as me.
At first, I did not want anybody from school to find out about my channel however once one girl found out. Everybody knew. The aim of this blog post was to tell you guys about back when I began my channel. And, to get the message across that it is important in life to do what makes YOU happy.
Some people mocked my channel and kept asking questions on why I made videos. However once people found out they started to find it fascinating that I had the confidence they never thought I had. My best piece of advice would be to ignore the haters and accept the lovers. In life there will be people who don't like you for no reason, but they are the people that you have to ignore.

I have got upset so many times about things that do not really matter. If YOU want to make YouTube videos, sing, dance, write..... Don't let ANYBODY stop you.

There are so many people in life that will come and go. And the people at school that once laughed at you for being yourself, will soon turn round in 30 years time and applaud you for becoming successful and chasing your dream when they did not. Just think that you have the power to change your life at any moment and if that means getting hate from other people first, then that's what your going to have to do.

Chase your dreams, ignore the haters and DO WHAT YOU LOVE.
